BACKGROUND

On 16 January 2019, the PJ City Football Club (PJ City FC) was launched as the professional football club making its debut in the Malaysia Super League, through an affiliation with MIFA. This launch marks a new beginning for the club and its new management. It is named after the vibrant and diverse city; Petaling Jaya or fondly known as PJ, and it aims to galvanize the surrounding community.

MIFA first competed in the Malaysian Premier League in 2014 and won the FAM Cup in 2016, and was promoted to play in the Malaysia Premier League. In 2018, it finished as one of the top teams in the division and qualified to play into the Malaysia Super League.

MANAGEMENT

PJ City FC is managed by qualified officials and is under the purview of the QI Group.

​

Supporting the PJ City FC is one of QI Group's initiative in giving back and being a responsible corporate citizen. QI Group is very passionate in building the community, inspiring local youth and promoting unity diversity via sports.
